Robert Weaver

Robert L. Weaver Sr., 69, of State Highway 28, Andes, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 22, 1946 in Margaretville, he was the son of the Ray and Sarah Soules Weaver. Robert served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a jack of all trades, Robert was an experienced mechanic, working for many area garages until he was forced to retire due to an injury. Robert was a talented craftsman and could often fix or repair anything. He enjoyed blacksmithing, stone cutting and loved gardening and landscaping. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Belle Weaver of Andes; children: Edward Thomas Roe, Ann Marie Roe, Michele Harwell, Robert L. Weaver Jr., Christina L. Weaver and Amber J. Weaver; 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his mother: Sarah Weaver; a sister, Virginia Weaver; and two brothers: Mark and Alan Weaver. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, Arrangements are under the direction of MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi.
