Robert Wilklow

Robert “Bob” Wilklow, 87, New Orleans, LA, formerly of Delhi, NY passed away at his home on Monday, August 25, 2025

Born on March 4, 1938 in Kingston, NY, Robert was the son of the late Albert and Mildred (Babcock) Wilklow.

Robert was married to Dorothea E. (Sanderson) Wilklow, she passed away in 1994.

Bob owned and operated D&D Automotive, the local NAPA Auto parts store in Delhi for many years until his retirement. Following his retirement he moved to New Orleans, a city he fell in love with while visiting family.

He enjoyed sports and had a great passion for cheering on the Duke University Blue Devils.

Besides his wife, Bob was predeceased by his brother: Albert William “Bill” Wilklow.

He is survived by his children: Brian Wilklow of Delhi, Stephanie (Bob) Nicholson of Delhi and Heather (David) Rosa of Delhi; grandchildren: Geoff (Liz) Rosa of Chenango Forks, Courtney (Phil Wright) Rosa of Oneonta and Matthew (Felicia Segelken) Nicholson of Ballston Spa; great-grandchildren: Celia and Dylan Rosa; siblings: James “Jimmy” (Sis) Wilklow of Clintondale, NY, Gerald Wilklow of Rome and Barbara Quinn of Salem; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins including his close nephew: Dr. Frank (Angela) Wilklow and their family in New Orleans, LA.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church, 4 Clinton Street, Delhi, with the Rev. Jamie Tyrell. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi, NY.
