Roger L. Hadley

Roger L. Hadley, 71, of Andes, NY, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 11, 2025, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born on March 3, 1954, in Delhi, Roger was the son of the late Roy and Thelma (Lyons) Hadley, Sr.

Roger worked for several area Dairy farms in the Bovina area, including Burns Brothers and Renner’s, he also worked for several years for Lake Delaware Farm and also at the St. James Church at Lake Delaware.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, Roger also liked to wood carve and whittle and also was a hobby treasure hunter with his metal detector. He enjoyed classic American muscle cars, owning several over the years including a 1966 GTO. Roger also enjoyed his two pet cats.

Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by his brother: Roy W. Hadley, Jr. in 2024.

He is survived by his brothers: Clifford G. Hadley, Bruce A. (Fran) Hadley and James L. (Jill) Hadley; nephew and nieces: Luke, Mallory and Meghan; and several friends.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at 3PM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at St. James Church at Lake Delaware, followed by burial at Bovina Cemetery, Bovina Center, NY.
