Rosemarie Baldassano

Rosemarie H. Baldassano, 75, of Bainbridge, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on March 8, 1942 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Hans) Balmes. She was a graduate of John Jay High School, Brooklyn. Marie worked in the hospitality field, retiring after many years of service from Howard Johnson's in Norwich. She enjoyed reading novels, embroidery and recently enjoyed coloring books. Marie is survived by her companion and best friend, Paul Baker of Bainbridge; children: William Egan of MA, Annmarie Egan of IN, Nicholas Baldassano Jr. of Delhi and Louise Russo of Hobart; grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Matthew, Nicholas III, Ashley, Kris, Rachel and Jessica; great-grandchildren: June, Abby and Mya; sisters: MaryAnn Mazzella; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 5-8PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at MacArthur Funeral Home, 131 Main Street, Delhi.
