Rosemary Kletchka

Rosemary Kletchka, 91, of Stamford, formerly of Bay Shore, Long Island, passed away on April 22, 2021 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home. Born on February 18, 1930 in Bay Shore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Rawberry) Kellermann. Mrs. Kletchka was married to Martin A. Kletchka II. She was a devote Roman Catholic and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Bay Shore, where Rosemary was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the St. Patrick’s Women’s Guild. Rosemary enjoyed baking, but her greatest passion was giving to other and helping all to feel welcome. Besides her husband Martin II, she was predeceased by a son: Martin Kletchka III in 2019. Rosemary is survived by her children: Regina (William) Wilhelmy of North Carolina and Brian (Noelle) Kletchka of Stamford; grandchildren: Robert (Liz) Wilhelmy and Melissa (Murray) Gibson both of North Carolina, Shelby and Claire Kletchka both of Stamford; five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bay Shore will be announced at a later date.
