Ruth Nygard

Ruth A. Nygard passed away Monday morning, January 8, 2018 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford NY. She was born February 20, 1924, daughter of Thomas and Myrtle All in Hobart, NY. Mrs. Nygard was married to Stanley Nygard for 66 years until his passing in 2008. Ruth found great enjoyment in the company of her grandchildren and family. She enjoyed playing golf and socializing with other members of the Stamford golf club for many years. She is survived by sons Howard (Sue) of Raleigh, NC and David (Linda) of Bloomville, NY. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michelle, Cheryl, Michael, and Russell, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eight siblings, Albert, Lambert, Ward, Ethel, Phyllis, Willard, Kenneth, and Gene. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery, Bloomville with the Rev. Dot Morris officating.
