Sandra Johnson

Sandra J. Johnson, 76, of Delhi, passed away at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown early Saturday morning, February 23, 2019. Born on May 12, 1942 in the town of Hamden, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Gray) Eckert. She was married to Lynn Johnson in 1983, he passed away in 2002. Sandra worked as a CNA and housekeeper and last working for the former Countryside Care Center in Delhi. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting and quilting. She also loved nature and wildlife. Sandra is survived by her children: David (Tanya) Shaw of Delhi and Annette (Phil) Carnicelli of Delhi; grandchildren: Torry Carnicelli of Delhi, Charlie Shaw of Oneonta, Stephen Carnicelli of Delhi and Chelsea Shaw of Delhi; step grandchild: Cody Bolster of Delhi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
