Sandra H. Moody

Sandra H. Moody, 88, of West Platner Brook, Delhi, passed away early Thursday morning, October 13, 2022 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Center, Stamford.

Born on May 27, 1934 in Walton, She was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Ethel (Palmer) Hoyt.

Sandra was married to Elden H. Moody who passed away in 1992.

She worked for the Delaware County ARC in Walton and assisted Elden with the operation of the family dairy farm on West Platner Brook. Sandra also was a Dairy Laboratory Technician, working as a milk tester at several local labs. Sandy also was a 4H leader for several years.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her children: Michael Moody and Cathy McGovern; and grandson: Matthew Mellott.

Sandra is survived by her daughter: Karen (Robert) Mellott of Gilbertsville; daughter-in-law: Annette Moody of Delhi; grandchildren: Wayne, Kimberly, Donald, Cheryl and Corey; great-grandchildren: Paige, Brynn, Bowen, Tasha, Azylyn, Taylor, Milo and Aubrey; great-grandchildren: Trent, Archer, Aleczander and one due in March 2023.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 5-7PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, where a funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery, Walton.
