Scott Alan Burns

Scott Alan Burns, 57, of Bovina, New York, passed away on February 11, 2024, from natural causes.

Scott, fondly known as “Burnsy” was born to Alan and Linda Burns, on September 10, 1966, in Delhi, New York.

He was a talented outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Scott spent his final days at home enjoying life with best friend and fur daughter Roxie.

He was predeceased by his father: Alan Burns; along with a brother: Timothy Burns.

Scott is survived by his mother: Linda (Dan Sheldon) Burns; daughters: Ashley (Jeffrey Lee) Stone and Sidney (Joe) Rider; grandson: Gavin Rider; sister-in-law: Laurie Burns; nephews: Adam, Eric, Cody, and Derek Burns; niece: Emily Burns; grandmother: Francis Burns; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Scott’s life is being planned for a later date.
