Scott E. Eckert

Scott E Eckert, 73, of Walton, NY, passed away on November 20th in Bloomville, NY. Scott was born on February 28th, 1948 to the late Herbert L and Adrianne Eckert in Margaretville, NY. After graduating from Delaware Academy, he went on to graduate from SUNY Delhi with a degree in Liberal Arts. Scott was drafted into the Army and did a tour overseas. He retired from the military in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved spending time on his boat with family and friends. Besides his parents, Scott is predeceased by a sister Mary (Firment). He is survived by his son Paul Eckert and his wife Melissa, his brother Herbert L Eckert Jr. and granddaughters Lacey and Adelynn Eckert. A celebration of life service will be held at the Walton Veterans Club on Saturday, December 11th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
