Sheila Gifford

Sheila F. Gifford sadly passed away January 6, 2021 after a battle with Covid-19 at Fox Hospital, Oneonta. Sheila lived a long full life in Stamford N.Y., growing up on a dairy farm. As an adult she was a CNA at Stamford Hospital and Ward Clerk at Robinson Terrace nursing home. In her retired years she traveled extensively with her husband James "Herbie" Gifford. They traveled all over the United States, spending winters in Myrtle Beach and summers in Stamford. Sheila was predeceased by her daughter, Andrea in 1976 and her husband, James in 2018. She was survived by her daughter Brenda Kephart, grandchildren Nicole and Ryan Kedior of Scotia, NY and Jaron Kephart of Orlando, FL. Sheila was also survived by her niece Denise and Jack Kenny of New Jersey and nephew Barry Germond of New Hampshire. The family is very grateful for the kindness Dee showed her Aunt and also to her dear friend RuthAnn Madore of South Carolina. Rest in peace Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, you will be missed.
