Susan C. Chapman

Susan C. Chapman, 72, of Bloomville passed away suddenly, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at AO Fox Hospital, Oneonta. Born on June 24, 1948 in Gorham, NY, the daughter of the late Gordon and Carol Frarey. Susan graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was married Francis Chapman for over 50 years, the couple owned and operated Spruce Lawn Dairy in Bloomville until their retirement. Susan enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading. Besides her husband Francis, Mrs. Chapman is survived by her daughter: Laura (John) Davis of Lansing, NY; two sisters: Mary (Gary) Putman of Georgia and Jackie Robinson of Florida; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
