Travis E. Batey

Travis E. Batey, 41, of Clifton Park, formerly of Bovina Center, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness. Born on June 27, 1979 in Albany, NY, Travis is the son of Michael and Christine (Hilson) Batey. Travis was a 2008 graduate of SUNY Delhi and was a CAD draftsman for Johnson Controls for the last 13 years. He enjoyed baseball, cheering on the NY Mets and he also had an extensive baseball card collection. Travis had a passion for golf and enjoyed playing with his family and friends. He was a member of the Halfmoon Church of Christ. Travis is survived by his parents: Michael and Christine Batey of Bovina Center; brother: Evan Batey of Grass Valley, CA; Uncles and Aunts: John and Margaret Hilson of Bovina Center, Nancy and Chuck Walker of Algodones, NM, Debbie and Ed Eldridge of Kingston Springs, TN and Pattie and Buckie Hawkins of Franklin, TN; along with several cousins and close friends.
