Vincent R. Spanburgh, at the age of 53, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30, 2026 in the peace of his home in Delhi, NY, after an illness.
He was born on June 24, 1972, in Queens, NY, the son of Jean and Vincent Spanburgh Sr, and the brother of Debbie O'Conner and Nancy Young.
Vincent despite his disability went on to get his bachelor's degree at Nyack College and went on to oversee multiple schools for Aveda Institutes as Regional Financial Aid Director.
While working full-time and going to school he raised a beautiful family of four, his wife Tanya and his two children, Sandy'Jo and Vincent III. Vincent also was an amazing uncle to his nieces, Alyssa, Anna, Ella, Amanda, and his youngest Jeana.
While moving back and forth from New York to Texas, Vincent fulfilled his dream of owning a house in Little Elm, Texas. Residing in Texas from 2011-2020, until moving back to his home state of New York and retiring to be close to his parents.
Vincent was driven to help others and be strong for his family. Making sacrifices to ensure his children were able to fulfill their dreams. Vincent was a handyman just like his father, whether it was from fixing up an old chair to remodeling his own home, nothing stopped him short from his dedication to create something out of nothing.
We will all remember Vincent’s kind heart and smile in all our memories.
