Virginia Williams

Virginia M. Williams, age 82, of Stamford, New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 20, 2019. She was born on February 15, 1937 in Cooperstown, NY the youngest of 4 siblings of Carlton Murdock and Louise (Chase) Murdock. Virginia grew up on a small farm just outside of Cooperstown, NY. She spent her youth helping around the farm and attending classes in a one room schoolhouse. On September 3, 1954 Virginia married Robert H. Williams in Cooperstown, together they had 5 children; Jean (Sherman), Frank, Catherine (Curcio), Susan and Daniel. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, sister Margaret, brothers Robert & Charles, daughter Jean and her loving husband and best friend Robert. Surviving are her children; Frank and Sue Williams of Olympia, WA, Catherine and S. Rock Curcio of Monroe, NC, Susan Williams of Hanford, CA, and Daniel and Carrie Williams of Kodiak, AK; she is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
