Walter Havrish

Walter “Wally” Francis Havrish, 56, of Hobart, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2019. Born on March 28, 1963 in Stamford, He was the son of Robert W. Havrish and Victoria Clark. Wally was a 1981 graduated of South Kortright Central School where he excelled at athletics, playing both soccer and baseball. Later he enjoyed playing softball. He was an avid outdoorsman, Wally enjoyed hunting fishing and all that nature had to offer. He also enjoyed the companionship of his several pet dogs and cats. Besides his parents, Wally is survived by his daughter: Kelli-Jo VanValkenburgh of Prattsville; siblings: Melody (Steven) Harris of Petersburg and Tim Havrish of Hobart; nieces: Hailey and Amelia; nephew: Andrew; and several cousins.
