Werden C Goodemoot, Jr.

Werden C. Goodemoot, Jr., 95, of Delhi, passed away at AO Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta following a short illness.

Born on March 14, 1929, in Pequannock, NJ, the son of the late Werden C. and Emma (Hempler) Goodemoot, Sr.

Mr. Goodemoot proudly served in the National Guard.

He was a history teacher for 24 years at Roxbury Central School retiring in the mid 1980’s

He enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, hunting trips to Montana, and finding good deals at flea markets throughout many parts of the country.

He spent his time visiting with friends and family, excelling in shooting sports, completing elaborate metal and wood projects, farming, and a seemingly unlimited number of other hobbies and looked forward to completing his unfinished projects.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
